WordPress | GoDaddy
Posted by admin in SShhhh!!!! Don't tell anyone!, WordPress GoDaddy on September 29, 2009
Man, we had a great turn out for an impromptu webinar on hosting a WordPress blog using GoDaddy!
It was only scheduled for one hour, but fate (in the guise of my posting the wrong time, doe!) and some interested attendees, conspired to it ending up two hours long!
We covered tons of stuff and even found a new niche that is seeming to have tons of traffic, without SEO savvy competitors –GoldMine!
Here’s the catch – audio on my part was terrible! My system automatically mutes my mic and sound was leaking through, but the audio on the rendered audio was crap!
The bonus for you, my money making friend, is that I’m going to re-schedule the webinar, but this time throwing in MORE info, MORE free products, MORE how-to, and MORE demonstrations of what to do after you have your site up!
SO stay tuned for the sign up info!
Same Bat time, same Bat channel!
Seacrest out!

Hmmm… I dont wonder how that happened….haha!
Internet How To for the Newbie!
Posted by admin in SShhhh!!!! Don't tell anyone! on September 20, 2009
An explanation for the newbies might be due to explain all the do hickies posted in this site.
The section you are reading now is where I post daily/weekly/yearly (depending on when I get a round Twoit, haha).
Here you’ll find things like news from my travels, new products I’ve tried and loved/hated and sometimes loved-hated!, and other things that have taken my focus for the time being.
Some of the topics are created from emails I receive and rather than sending the same response over and over, I’ll create a post that I can refer people to, sweet!
Some of the topics are just for the hell of it.
To the right of this section is the Twitter Posts sidebar. Here is where you’ll find some of my most recent posts in Twitter.
If you don’t know what Twitter is, well, I guess you can describe it as a sort of online text message center for thousands of your “closest” friends, ha!
I laugh because you’ll find that most of the people who follow you, might have never heard of who you are! I have something like 1300 followers and hell I’d be hard pressed to name 1300 people from my home town – where I was raised and spent 18 yrs in!
Let me tell you the benefit of Twitter though: It is the one place you can connect directly to people you wouldn’t be able to connect with in the “real” world as easily!
I follow and am followed by several leading authors, internet marketing gurus, movie stars, politicians, millionaires – you name it!
I have literally been able to connect to MC Hammer. Really! I sent him a Twitter and he responded directly back at me. Let me tell you the man is a nice guy! Great family man. You can follow him at www.twitter.com/mchammer.
To the right of the Twitter sidebar is an optin box. Optin boxes are used in marketing to allow marketers to connect with people looking for information/products/services that the marketer is providing.
On my pages, I have included an optin box that will share an interview I did with Pat O’Bryan. In this interview, we covered alot of interesting topics – topmost being how you, yes you!, can start an online business with only around $20. Pat outlines exactly how to do that in the interview —meaning I won’t be sharing that here! Go and sign up to listen to the interview, sometime around NOW! haha!
Underneath the optin box for Pat’s Interview is a list of products and services that are some of the best sellers at ClickBank.
ClickBank is a site that allows people to sell their digital products (ebooks, programs et al) and does so through direct selling (vendor to consumer via the vendor’s website) or through the use of affiliates, which is where the grease meets the fire!
Basically, this is how it works (all you ClickBank experts out there hold your tongue, haha!):
1. You create an amazing product but are having trouble getting enough traffic to your website to really make the number of sales you’d like to make.
2. You sign up with ClickBank. Yes there are fees and setup to go through, but it’s relatively easy to do.
3. Other people who are interested in the same area as your product (they either have blogs or websites that promote those types of products) sign up to promote your product. For the extra sales these affiliates bring in, you pay a commission. This commission can be anything you set once you list your product.
Many vendors set commissions of 50% and up! Here’s why:
1. The product you’re selling is a digital product, which means you have no overhead for storing it or manufacturing it and sending it out when you make a sale. This means the sale is pure profit to you! The 50% + commission you pay out is well worth it because the affiliate is doing all the work on promoting your product! They don’t get paid unless they refer a sale and you bet they want to make a sale! After all, all they have to do is refer as many people to your site as they can (many do so for free!) These referrals then convert to sales (statistically speaking) and this means free money to the affiliates!
Of course, then ClickBank takes their cut, but overall everyone is happy in the end.
There is a way to make money with ClickBank without having a website or a product. But you’ll have to bribe me to tell you!
That pretty much covers the three sections I’ve included in my site.
Let me know if I can help you create your own site or get into the business of making money online. If I can’t show you how to do it, I’ve got lots of friends I can refer you to!
